About Me
I'm James Tyler LoVerde, a Computer Science and Data Science with an emphasis in Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in software engineering internships at both a Fortune 500 company, Grainger (current job), and a startup, Fenster Analytics. Along with a background in data analytics from my time at CNH Industrial Capital. Previously, I served as an Emergency Medical Responder, where I developed crucial leadership skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
In the past three years, I have undertaken a variety of full stack and machine learning projects. Including, authoring an article on predicting NFL plays using Artificial Neural Networks, winning the JP Morgan Fall 2023 Data for Good hackathon, and currently developing a full stack travel social media app called Nomad. I am driven by a passion for leveraging technology to create innovative applications and derive data-driven solutions. Originally from Monmouth Beach, NJ, I enjoy traveling, skiing, working out, and playing tennis in my free time.
